”I have used a great number of telescopes; some are good, some mediocre and some bad. To me the Sky-Watcher range of instruments are very good indeed, and suited to amateurs of all kinds – and they are not priced out of the market! Excellent value.
Use them and enjoy them.“

They are truly outstanding, high-performance, high-resolution instruments manufactured to extremely high standards of optical and mechanical precision. With their long focal lenghs and breathtaking, diffraction limited optical performance, they are ideal for the detailed high-power study of the Moon, Planetary Surfaces and other objects in our solar system, giving crisp contrasty images. These telescope packages will stand you in great stead for a lifetime of serious astronomical viewing. Tube Material: Aluminium
"“Great deep-space views….The mount was robust and, when tapped, the vibrations quickly dissipated, showing it was a stable platform. Using the 25mm eyepiece, the star Altair was sharp across 90 percent of the field of view, with only slight distortion close to the edges. Using the 10mm eyepiece we just split Epsilon Lyrae into four stars and Albireo had lovely gold and blue component stars. All our test nebulae and galaxies were easily viewed. The Dumbbell Nebula showed strong mottling and the the Andromeda Galaxy filled the view at low magnification, with its two companion galaxies also visible." BBC Sky At Night Magazine
"Highly regarded, reliable 102mm Retracting Telescope giving bright, contrasty images" The Independent (The Ten Best Telescopes feature. Chosen by Robin Scagell, Vice President of The Society for Popular Astronomy)
”The quality of image, good; the telescope is easy to set up, and convenient to use. It is a very stable instrument for the amateur who is anxious to take a very serious interest in observing.“

Outstanding value....Our tests on both real and artificial stars revealed a near-perfect diffraction pattern....The Sky-Watcher's mount was a touch heavier & beefier....The larger 2" diagonal - unique in this test - will be invaluable if you are planning to use wide-field eyepieces....The extra eyepiece, bigger finderscope & star diagonal will lead you to the great value Sky-Watcher....You get more for your money with the Sky-Watcher. That's why it beats the Celestron.... BBC SKY AT NIGHT MAGAZINE
