The focal reducer is intended for reducing the focal distance and correction of field aberrations of the objective lens of the TAL-250K Klevsov-cassegrain telescope.
It reduces the exposure time when photographing deep-space objects. The focal reducer is installed into the focusing tube with a bore diameter of 2".
